C’est cette nuit que se déroulaient les dix-neuvièmes BET Awards, au Microsoft Theater de Los Angeles. Avec ses sept nominations, Cardi B partait comme la grande favorite de cette cérémonie, qui célèbre chaque année la « black culture ». La rappeuse n’a pas failli puisqu’elle est repartie avec les prestigieux prix de Meilleure Artiste Hip-Hop Féminine, et Meilleur Album avec Invasion Of Privacy.
